The Wright Brother is a love story of two people with drama that sends them running in opposite directions even though they are being pulled together. Jensen with his past that he fears will destroy what he could have with a woman. He lays eyes on Emry and after trying to stay away decides he can't and wants to start a relationship with her. His trust issues almost rip them apart. Emry was hurt by her boyfriend so she turned her life upside down with abruptly leaving school and moving back to her hometown with no idea what she was going to do with her life. She swore off men and that ends up being hard when it comes to Jensen Wright but her trust issues have her questioning every little thing. Will they work through their trust issues or will it destroy what they both want.
I liked the book, it had a little of everything, drama, villains, mystery, romance and steamy loving! The story got better as it went along once the Jensen drama was disclosed I was enthralled with the story if I put the book down I was constantly wondering what was going to happen.
I have to say my favorite part of the book was Emry, she proved to be pretty sassy sometimes and I enjoyed when she stood up for herself especially at the impromptu dinner she was asked to attend with Jensen when he acquired his competitor/old friend turned enemy Marc's family business. Marchc knew things about Jensen's past and in his moody state was taking every stab he could at Jensen and Emry fell in the middle of the drama. "I held my hand up. "Look, it's fine. Whatever you're doing is fine. Take shots at me all you want. I get you might be upset with Jensen, and you're petty enough to try to take it out on me, but I'm not a vodka tonic-drinking, pretty-faced model. I'm not anything you think I am. So, keep hurling insults and layered jabs. I can take it. It's not going to make a damn difference to me." Marc closed his mouth on whatever he had wanted to say next. " Emry also had a fun friendship with Heidi and it was always entertaining.
This book is meant to entertain and Linde definitely accomplished that . I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, flirty read! Great book to curl up on the couch with a glass of wine on a rainy day and let it take you away to enjoy the love story of Jensen and Emry.
