Cover Reveal: A Perfect Chance by Becca Lee

Title: A Perfect Chance
Author: Becca Lee
Genre: Aussie Contemporary Romance with a hint of  MC
Release Date: May 4th
Editor: Hot Tree Editing
Cover Artist: ZH Designs

Chasing a ghost is easy. It's finding yourself that's the real challenge.

Drowning in darkness, Mace struggles to move on from a past filled with sorrow. Anger is a much easier emotion to handle, one he readily embraces. Burying himself in his work and spending his nights with his brotherhood of bikers, Mace is determined to spend his life playing by his own rules.

Plagued by her own guilt, Lena desires nothing more than to break free from her past and to start afresh. But fear and anxiety threaten to keep her hostage, leaving her frustrated and stifled. The last thing she expects is another brooding man to be her possible way out.

While Lena is determined to fight for her future outside of the Deadwood MC, Mace is resolute to avoid any hope of happiness. Together, they have to decide what they're willing to risk for the perfect chance.

I pulled out and drove to our local drive-through coffee house. I'd never paid attention to the place before, but soon discovered it was bloody perfect for Lena. She didn't need to get out of the car—though we were working up to that—yet she had the freedom of leaving the office and doing something everyday people did.
It didn't take long before we arrived. Unbuckling her belt, Lena leaned over me to speak into the microphone to make her order. I held back my groan as I inhaled her scent: fresh peaches that smelled fucking delectable. I couldn't help but wonder if I'd spent the first week messing up her order on purpose, to give me the opportunity to have her all but sprawled over my lap. I was a sadistic bastard if that was the case, punishing myself by revelling in the closeness, but not allowing myself to touch.
She made her order and then turned her head to look at me, her brows raised in question. I held my breath at her closeness. All I had to do was lean in a couple of inches, if that, and my lips could be pressed against hers.
"Mace?" Her voice reminded me that she was waiting for my order.
"Peaches." Fuck.
She grinned at me, still in close proximity, her arm brushing against my chest and her other hand moving to my thigh for support. "Excuse me?"
Thinking fast, I said, "Peach smoothie?" not intending for it to come out as a dumb-arse question.
"Alrighty," she said with a laugh, turning her head away from me and leaning closer  once more to the open window. The movement caused her hair to sway, releasing more of the peach scent that apparently left me incapable of thought.
Before I could stop myself, I leaned forward, my nose touching her hair. It wasn't until her hand shifted a fraction, tightening on my thigh, that I realised what I'd done, or that Lena had noticed. I froze, not daring to move. In the past two minutes, I'd grown a fucking vagina. Sniffing her goddamn hair; enjoying the smell of peaches. Pussy-whipped, yet I'm not even getting any.
Spending the last few years near the Queensland coast, Becca is rarely out of the sea or off the beach. Dragging her long board with her and her overworked Kindle Fire, Becca enjoys her three addictions: reading, surfing and ogling surfers, one of whom is her husband of ten years.

She can still be found regularly on the beach with her family. Becca tends to leave the surfing to her boys; she's far too busy immersed in her own writing or, of course, with her head still buried in a new read.

~*~*~* REVIEW ~*~*~*

Trust...

More like trust no one. I loved the mystery in this story. I was just never sure who was telling the truth. I loved it.

Jessie, poor sweet, goofy, clueless Jessie. I adored her. She was hilarious. A chain of events sets her life in a bit of a spiral.

Luca... So freaking hot! I just wanted to lick him. I loved him but at the same time I was sceptical of everyone.

No spoilers so there isn't a lot I can say. If you love a mystery, with seriously steamy sexy bits, one click Trust. It's one hell of a ride.

NEW RELEASE REVIEW: A Perfect Love by Becca Lee

“When the odds are stacked against you, you don’t run and hide. You step up and give life the middle finger.”

Author: Becca Lee

Title: A Perfect Love

Series: Perfect #2 (Can be read as a standalone)

Cover Design by: LM Creations

Edited by: Hot Tree Editing

BLURB

Jo is confident her life is about to spiral out of control and change irrevocably. What she doesn’t expect is just how far her world will tilt. Floundering and confused, she discovers life and love isn't always knee deep in hearts and flowers. Sometimes, life’s middle finger is pointed firmly in the air.

Liam never expected perfect, but from the moment he said "I do", he knew he had it. What he doesn’t expect, is life throwing crapballs the size of Ayres Rock at him! Sometimes, life’s aim is a little too accurate.

When Mother Nature steps in and throws their world into disarray, Liam and Jo need to decide just how far they’re willing to go to find their perfect love.

I fell in love with Jo & Liam in A Perfect Moment. They were both hilarious and supportive and I couldn't wait to read their story. That epilogue was brilliant!

Jo & Liam are a newly wed couple who discover they are pregnant and all the comedy ensues, so many laugh out loud moments with these two! But alas this isn't a comedy. Ghosts from their past rears its ugly head and tries to steal away their happily ever after.

It was sad and intense, funny and sweet. I laughed and shed a few tears. I loved Mace and kinda loved the epilogue in his POV so we can look forward to his story coming soon (I hope).

Becca Lee doesn't mess around, she writes beautiful love stories and then when we are all cozy, basking in the glow of true love, she throws us into the thick of it in some tragic heart wrenching suspense.

Great companion series, great book. Well worth the one click and more than worth the 99cent price tag.

“What did Liam say? How’d he take it?”

I snorted, spraying a few crumbs on her bed. She raised a brow at me. “Well, he passed out, and I think he may have even knocked himself out, as well, after that by banging his head.”

She laughed, holding on to her ribs as she did so. “Holy shit. Really? I wish I could have seen that. What did you do? Is he okay?”

“I threw frozen veggies at him.”

Ella laughed again. “Awww, your maternal instincts are kicking in.”

Reaching for another cookie, I looked at her and guffawed. “That’s what I thought. It has to count for something.” Continuing to look at me, Ella remained quiet. I knew she was waiting for me to continue. “He was as freaked out as me. Now he keeps having this weird smile on his face and looking at my stomach and me. Last night, I woke up needing a pee to find him beneath the blankets…” I laughed at her raised eyebrows.

“Do I want to hear this story?”

“I would have been bloody ecstatic if he was going down on me, but the weirdo had his ear to my stomach and was lying perfectly still. After I realised I wasn’t going to get lucky, I asked him what the hell he was doing. You know what the dork told me?” Ella pursed her lips, a slight smile playing at the corners. “He was listening. What the hell did he think he was going to hear, for Christ’s sake?” There may have been a part of me that was just slightly touched by his dorkiness. It was ridiculously sweet, and yes, weird as hell as I was only barely pregnant, but the knowledge that he was actually beginning to get excited about being a dad made me feel a bit gooey inside.

“Did your ovaries just spasm?”

“What?”

“I swear my ovaries just went into a spasm or something. That has to be the sweetest thing I’ve ever bloody heard, and from Liam, hard-arse extraordinaire. Damn, I may just need to call up Preston and see if he can pop by for half an hour.”
